Winter Solstice Celebrations are set on Dec. 21 at the Ernie Miller Nature Center, 909 N. K-7 Highway, Olathe.

Program features walking through the woods along little Cedar Creek with trails lit by luminaries, story telling, live owls and gathering round for campfire treats of toasted marshmallows.

Five time slots are available: 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Each program lasts two hours from the chosen start time.

Portions of the program will be outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Cost is $10 per person, $11 nonresidents.
