New Year features travel options

As the weather turns cold set your sights on warm days and summer adventures.

The Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Program, in partnership with Collette, is offering three group travel opportunities for the summer of 2025. These tours feature cultural experiences, landscapes and memories.

Tours vary in length and include airfare, hotels and most meals.

Here’s a glimpse at upcoming travel opportunities:

  • Imperial Cities – Discover Vienna, Prague and Budapest on this cultural journey. Explore Prague Castle, enjoy a classical music performance in Vienna and take in the scenic views from Budapest’s Fisherman’s Bastion. Enjoy unique experiences like lunch with l0cals and a Renaissance dinner. Guaranteed pricing through Nov. 8.
  • California Dreamin’: Monterey, Yosemite & Napa – Travel along California’s iconic coast, explore Yosemite National Park and indulge in a Napa Valley vineyard tour and wine tasting. Take a scenic 17-Mile Drive and cruise Lake Tahoe. Choose between visiting the California State Railroad Museum or the Crocker Art Museum. Guaranteed pricing through Dec. 16.
