Event includes holiday karaoke, building of gingerbread houses

As the holiday season approaches, it’s the perfect time to gather loved ones and embrace the joy of creating together at the festive Gingerbread House Holiday Party on Dec. 13.
The event, featuring fun for the entire family, takes place at 6 p.m. in the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse and lasts approximately 1½ hours.
Whether you’re a seasoned gingerbread architect or trying your hand at it for the first time, there’ s something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative gingerbread houses.
Activities include a hot chocolate bar, featuring a variety of toppings, and a lively karaoke station to show - case vocal talents of participants belting out favorite holiday tunes.
Whether you prefer classic carols or upbeat seasonal favorites, it is the perfect opportunity to join in the festive spirit and spread some cheer.
Cost is $32 for Johnson County residents, $35 non-residents. Please register online at jcprd.com by Dec. 6.
