Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Johnson County Catch-a-Ride and the Home-Delivered Meals program need your help, especially in our rural communities.

Catch-a-Ride is looking for compassionate volunteers to provide transportation for those who cannot drive themselves, particularly in Spring Hill, De Soto and Gardner. By offering a ride to a medical appointment or food pantry, you help individuals maintain their independence and access essential services.

The Home-Delivered Meals program seeks dedicated volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors during the Monday-Friday lunch hour. We have openings in Overland Park, Olathe and De Soto. Your efforts will ensure our neighbors receive the nourishment and social interaction needed to stay healthy and connected.

For Catch-a-Ride, you can set your own schedule and geographic distance, while the Home-Delivered Meals program offers set routes throughout the county. Whether you can volunteer once a week or once a month, your contribution will make a meaningful difference.

All volunteers must attend a general orientation and specific program training sessions to prepare for their volunteer roles. Volunteers will use their personal vehicles for service.

Volunteering for Johnson County Catch-a-Ride and the Home-Delivered Meals program is a rewarding way to give back to your community. Donating just a couple of hours a week can help improve the quality of life for many individuals.
