A Haunted Tales Variety Show is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26 at the outdoor amphitheater at Ernie Miller Park, 909 N. K-7 Highway, Olathe.

Activities include chilling tales, ghoulish games, mysterious music and spook-tacular animal friends. Attendees then can take a night hike on their own, so dress for the weather.

The event is recommended for ages 8 and older. Advance registration is required at JCPRD.com/register.

Cost is $9 per person, $10 nonresident, including adults.
