Sponsored by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Department, a free Veterans Celebration Breakfast will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty St., Overland Park.

The event will feature a patriotic celebration and a pancake and sausage breakfast from Chris Cakes.

Admission is free for veterans and $9 for non-veterans. Preregistration is required.
