Chili and bingo are being combined for a 50 Plus fun event from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Drive.

Attendees can celebrate the changing of the seasons and the opportunity to meet new friends over a mild chili, salad, cinnamon roll lunch - it’s a Kansas thing!

Twelve games of bingo are included with prizes from gift cards to gift baskets.

Cost is $17 for Johnson County residents, $19 nonresidents. There is no additional charge for bingo.
